The onsite facilities include an immaculately kept shower/toilet block with 2 separate lockable sides. One for men and one for women. Both each contain flushing toilets, a shower and wash basins with hot and cold running water. There is also a urinal in the men’s toilets. NO BABY WIPES please, as they do not break down in the septic tank.
There is a lodge with a covered porch/lean to area and also a further sheltered area under the lean to of the shed/container alongside the lodge.
Inside the lodge there is a gas oven cooker with a 4 ring gas hob above if you require its use. This must be left as clean as you found it. Our bailiff is immaculate when it comes to cleanliness.
FRIDGE AND FREEZER SPACE
Inside the lodge we have a 110litre chest style fridge for you to store bacon, sausages, meat etc and a 240 litre chest freezer for bait and or frozen meat etc. The freezer is large enough to take the majority of everyones frozen boilies but in the likely event that some may bring more bait than others, we shall make sure no individuals “claim” more freezer space than others. In this instance, those bringing lots of boilies should bring air dry bags to hang in their swim.
MAINS ELECTRICITY SOCKETS
We do not have mains electricity sockets for your use as we run everything on a solar system and gas. We do not have the means to charge any of your power packs or mobile phones. Your car is parked in your swim, please bring your car charger for your phone. If you require more power in your swim, we recommend you bring a leisure battery.
Outside the lodge and next to the shed/container is the main BBQ and socialising area with a large brick built BBQ. Ample seating is provided with benches. There is another permanent brick built BBQ at the opposite end of the lake, next to Christmas tree lawn, situated half way between swims 2 and 3.
The disposal of all of your rubbish including glass bottles, plastic, food waste, etc, is covered within the price of your booking.
We do not have on site drinking water. By all means, feel free to bring your filled water butts. Alternatively, you can purchase bottled water at the local shops, very cheap in France.
WASHING UP AREA
Mounted above a drying rack, there is an external tap with hot running water fitted to the outside of the shower block for washing pots and pans etc.
